Hi. This video is about a mixing problem called "masking," which happens between instruments when they have energy in similar frequency bands. The result is reduced definition and clarity. This is how to solve the problem using frequency slotting techniques. 

In this instance, it was between three instruments, a pad, a rhythmic instrument and a melodic instrument.
